چکیده

Coupling, as a dimension of modularity, is of great importance to software maintainability and reuse. These are ever present concerns when it comes to design and maintenance activities, and also when new paradigms, from which AOP can be a good example, must be evaluated. The most prominent proposed frameworks for coupling measurement are highly focused on the coupling mechanisms from the paradigm to which they are developed for, instead of being focused at the phenomenon itself. This approach restricts the use of these frameworks to each paradigm, different paradigms can not be compared because different mechanisms can not be compared and comparing only the common mechanisms from different paradigms is comparing only part of the coupling and as such inconclusive, and still, the phenomenon understanding remains vague, otherwise, with the existing knowledge, we would be able to clearly say how to improve it, regardless of paradigm or language. Also, coupling is a phenomenon present at every development phase (high/low level design, implementation, etc) and system state (static or dynamic), and as such, its evaluation must always be possible, contrary to the specifics of current frameworks. A different approach on coupling will be proposed. This approach is based on a coupling empirical study focused on the different ways that coupling can be looked at. A new taxonomy for coupling will be proposed – the coupling factors. Each coupling factor can distinguish code modules on itself and all the factors combined give a clearer picture of the coupling phenomenon and therefore enables better reasoning on the ways it can be improved, and will allow coupling measurement, regardless of paradigm, language, development phase or system state, in order to enable improvements and comparisons.

Analysis of Oscillation Amplitude and Phase Error in Multiphase LC Oscillators

Abstract   This work proposes a novel method to find the phase error and oscillation amplitude in multiphase LC oscillators. A mathematical approach is used to find the relationship between every stage's output phase and its coupling factor. To much more general analysis, every stage assumed to have a different coupling factor. The mismatches in LC tanks are considered as the main source of pha...

Drill string Vibration Modeling Including Coupling Effects

Abstract: The governing equations of motion for a drill string considering coupling between axial, lateral and torsional vibrations are obtained using a Lagrangian approach. The result leads to a set of non-linear equations with time varying coefficients. A fully coupled model for axial, lateral, and torsional vibrations of drill strings is presented. The bit/formation interactions are assumed ...

تکرارپذیری برخی نشانگرهای مولکولی پیوسته با ژن مقاومت به ریزومانیا (Rz1) در ژنوتیپ های چغندرقند (Beta vulgaris L.)

Rhizomania disease is one of the most important diseases of sugar beet in Iran and many other parts of the world, and plays an essential role in decreasing sugar yield in fields. The best approach to control this disease is to use resistant varieties. For the involvement of resitance genes in breeding programs, tagging these genes by molecular markers is necessary. In this approach, some breedi...

Coupling Geomechanics and Transport in Naturally Fractured Reservoirs

Large amounts of hydrocarbon reserves are trapped in naturally fractured reservoirs which arechallenging in terms of accurate recovery prediction because of their joint fabric complexity andlithological heterogeneity. Canada, for example, has over 400 billion barrels of crude oil in fracturedcarbonates in Alberta, most of this being bitumen of viscosity greater than 106 cP in the GrosmontFormat...

An environmentally friendly approach to the synthesis of azo dyes based on 2-naphthol using kaolin-SO3H nanoparticles

Kaolin-SO3H nanoparticles were prepared via reaction of kaolin and chlorosulfonic acid and characterized by FT-IR, XRD, FESEM, TEM, XRF, EDS, BET and TGA. The activity of this green catalyst was probed by the synthesis of aryl diazonium salts as the starting reactant and then, their diazo coupling with  2-naphthol to form azo dyes in a solvent-free medium at room temperature...
